La Salle Art Exhibit

The 29th Annual La Salle Art Exhibit

About the La Salle Art Exhibit

The La Salle Art Exhibit has been a Christian Brothers tradition for nearly three decades. This year, we are showcasing the 29th Annual La Salle Exhibit virtually. Each year, students, faculty and staff are invited to submit up to three works of art for consideration into this prestigious show. This is a juried show and we welcome a different judge each year to choose the strongest submissions from a wide range of media, themes and styles. This year, our judge is Mary Westmark ’97, artist and board member of Chalk It Up! in Sacramento.

We hope you enjoy the impressive work of our skilled and talented students!

About this year’s judge

This year’s judge of the La Salle Art Exhibit is Mary Westmark ’97. Her Christian Brothers roots run deep as her father, Eric, was a religion teacher at CB for several years. Westmark is an artist who paints and draws, and is the former gallery owner of Cool Cat Gallery in Midtown Sacramento. She is currently on the board of directors for Chalk-It-Up, a non-profit organization that promotes art and art education for young people in the Sacramento Area. We are grateful for her putting in the time and careful consideration of our students’ artwork.
