Ms. Nicole Martin ’12 joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from Seattle University and a master’s degree in art history from American University.

Ross Hammond ’95 joined the Media, Visual, & Performing Arts Department in 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University, Sacramento. An acclaimed musician and educator for the past 25 years, Mr. Hammond has traveled the world sharing his talent as a jazz guitarist. He is thrilled to return to his alma mater and share his experiences and love of music with the next generation.
Ms. Leah Heine ’96 joined the Media, Visual & Performing Arts Department in 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Music from San Diego State University and a Master of Arts in Education from University of San Francisco. Ms. Heine currently directs the school’s Choral Program.
Ms. Laura Hohlwein joined the Christian Brothers faculty in 2021 as the digital art teacher.
Mr. Findlay McIntosh joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 1998. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History from UC Davis and master’s degree in history from CSU Sacramento. Currently, Mr. McIntosh teaches Studio Art, Advanced Painting, Honors Painting and Drawing. In addition to teaching, Mr. McIntosh is the Anime Club moderator.
Mr. Michael D. Jackson joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2014. He holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in theatre arts from CSU Sacramento. His professional theatre background includes 11 seasons with the California Musical Theatre and 14 years with Music Theatre International in New York City. Currently, Mr. Jackson is the director of the school’s theatre productions.
Mr. Brendan Hogan ’95 joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2005. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications – new media studies from San Diego State University and is an Adobe certified instructor. He is a graduate of the Buttimer Institute for Lasallian Studies. Currently, Mr. Hogan teaches Video Production 1, Broadcast Journalism, Advanced Media Arts and Senior Video. In addition to teaching, Mr. Hogan is moderator of the Live Sports Broadcasting Club. Under his leadership, KBFT has earned numerous national awards including the nation’s number one student-produced news broadcast.
Ms. Heather Christianson ’01 joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2014. She holds a bachelor’s degree theatre from the University of Southern California School of Theatre. Currently, Ms. Christianson teaches Theatre Arts. In addition to teaching, Ms. Christianson also manages the George Cunningham ’40 Performing Arts Center, home of the Thea Stidum Theatre. She also moderates the CB Theatre Society, The Tech Factor, fall play, One Acts Festival, the Student Film Festival, and the spring musical. Her interest in technical theatre began as a student at Christian Brothers. She credits the education she received at CB for enabling her to study in Los Angeles and London, and to work at Sacramento Theatre Company, Music Circus, and Los Angeles Women’s Shakespeare Company. She also serves as the Media, Visual & Performing Arts marketing coordinator.
