What does a complete Application include?
A complete Application consists of:
- An Application filled out by the student and parents and guardians
- Letters of Recommendation from the current Principal, Math teacher and English teacher
- A copy of the school’s Transcript after the end of the first trimester (or semester) of 8th grade
- The High School Placement Test on January 11, 2025
When should we fill out an Application?
Applications are now open! Please click on “Apply Now,” set up an account, and begin an Application. Once you have completed an Application and submitted it, give it 24-hours to process. You will then be able to go into the “Access Parent Application Portal” and submit requests for the Letters of Recommendation and Transcripts.
Applications are due on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
What do we need for Letters of Recommendation and Transcripts?
Please have the email addresses for the current principal, math teacher and English teacher to request Letters of Recommendation. Likewise, you will also need an email address for the person in the front office who manages academic records and Transcipts. Transcripts or report cards must include 6th, 7th and the first trimester (or semester) of 8th grade report cards, and 6th, 7th and 8th grade grades, and standardized test results. You will submit the requests online and as Letters of Recommendation and Transcripts are submitted, you can see as they are checked off in the Parent Portal.
Letters of Recommendation and Transcripts are due by Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
How do we sign up for the High School Placement Test?
Students are automatically registered for the High School Placement Test once the online application is submitted.
The High School Placement Test is on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
How do we apply for Tuition Assistance?
Tuition assistance applications are available online on our website beginning on October 6, 2024. Completed applications must be submitted by Thursday, January 9, 2025. Do students need to compete a video interview?
No, video interviews are not a part of the CB application process.
Can other teachers, coaches and religious leaders also write Letters of Recommendation?
Additional Letters of Recommendation are always welcome, but they are not required. Any additional Letters of Recommendation may go into the “Other Documents” folder in the online Application. However, your student MUST have Letters of Recommendation from their current principal, math teacher and English teacher to complete their Application.
