Belonging

Belonging: welcomed, known, invited, involved, heard, supported, befriended, needed, loved

As the place to be, Christian Brothers High School strives to cultivate an optimal learning environment wherein students feel valued, respected, and connected. We enthusiastically embrace the social, economic, ethnic, and religious multiplicity of our student body and commit to intentionally building spaces of belonging for all. Our Lasallian Catholic charism calls us to continue learning, challenging our perceptions, and developing empathy as we commit to a better understanding of the importance that diversity contributes to our world. We envision a community that goes beyond the tolerance of difference to one that is guided by social justice, cultural humility, and engaged citizenship. We believe that belonging is essential to building a stronger Christian Brothers community and achieving the standards of excellence to which we aspire.
