Spring 2025 Arts Events

The Lenaea High School Theatre Festival and CB Theatre Showcase

Every year our strongest theatre students take monologues, duet scenes, musical theatre songs and a one act play to the Lenaea festival at the Harris Center (Folsom Lake College) for a weekend of competition and collaboration. These works are then shown in a one-night performance here at CB. For more information about Lenaea, check out their website here

Open Mic Night

CB’s Open Mic club hosts the talents of our campus in an evening of performances. Acts range from dance and musical performances to spoken-word poetry and unique talents.

Friday, February 28 and Friday May 16 @ 7pm in the George Cunningham ’40 Performing Arts Center

Spring Play “The Dining Room”

Jump backwards and forwards over the lifetime of a 100-year-old dining room set for a window into the lives of its many owners, portrayed by actors each taking on several roles. Don’t miss this production of compassionate humor and abundant humanity.

March 28-30, April 4-6 Fridays and Saturdays @ 7pm, Sundays @ 2pm in the George Cunningham ’40 Performing Arts Center

Tickets $10 General Admission, $5 Students and kids.


La Salle Art Exhibit

The La Salle Art Exhibit is an annual showcase of student work in the visual arts and has been a Christian Brothers tradition for over three decades. Come see the creative expression of our students with a wide range of media, themes, and styles. The show culminates in a juried award ceremony in the George Cunningham ’40 Performing Arts Center.
