Remembering that we are in God’s holy presence at the beginning of every prayer and class is central to our Lasallian Catholic spirituality. The spirituality of our Founder, St. John Baptist de La Salle, provides us with an understanding that the classroom is the sacred space where we encounter the Lord through the very act of education.
The Lasallian Student Life Office (LSLO) supports the spiritual life of our community—students and their families, Lasallian educators and our whole staff, and alumni. The LSLO offers community Mass in the Chapel of Saint Joseph on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 am.
This year, we are excited to introduce a new initiative that will help us strengthen our ties with CB and our local parishes. The pastors of these parishes have graciously accepted our invitation to celebrate the Eucharist in our chapel on designated Fridays. This initiative, which also welcomes alums from these parochial schools, is a significant step towards fostering unity and community engagement in our diocese. All are welcome!
Everyone is invited to our community liturgies and prayer services throughout the year. Here is the calendar for 2024-2025. All community prayer services or liturgies are held in Ron Limeberger ’53 Gymnasium and take place at 11:30 a.m. unless otherwise noted.
